SNK Corporation announced that The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match is now available on PlayStation 4 along with a physical release available.
As stated in the press release, the game will contain new features on the PlayStation 4 port. This includes 66 playable characters (including exclusive NAMELESS), graphical improvements, redesigned capabilities, and a net undo code.
Players can also watch the last 10 online matches, cool optional match replays, a remastered soundtrack, and all despair moves that are canceled via the Max Mode system. The maximum 2 final moves are also said to be “lighter, easier to use”.
The press release also states that the physical release will arrive in Spring 2020. However, Limited Run Games announced that pre-orders will start tonight at 12 noon. ET ($ 34.99). There’s also a collector’s version ($ 69.99); Features a custom shock box, reversible sticker, soundtrack, 4 art cards, a small replica NeoGeo cartridge, and a collection box. Pre-orders close on March 14 at 11:59 PM. ET.
The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match is available on Windows PC (via GOG, and Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox One, and now on PlayStation 4.
